The viewers have finally witnessed the PSL final, which unveils the cricketing passion at its peak in Dubai. As we know that stadium was houseful as all the tickets were sold even before the match’s day.
The shouts we have got from Dubai stadium tells that Islamabad United have won the first ever PSL trophy beating Quetta Gladiators in a final.
According to the updates, Islamabad United winning the toss opted to field first. Gladiators suffered badly as they lost two early wickets but later in the game recoiled back as Shehzad and Sangkkara starred with their scintillating knocks, both of them scored 64 and 55 respectively.
Finally, after competition of 20 overs Gladiators were able to set 174 with loss of 7 wickets on the board.
The total looked good on the wicket as it was a pressure game, but the WI star batsman Dwayne Smith made it look comfortable with his superb batting. He added 73 of just 51 balls, including 4 towering sixes.
The only century maker in PSL, Sharjeel Khan wasn’t able to make it big this time as he was just dismissed on his individual score of 12.
In the later part of IU’s batting, Aussie wicket keeper-batsman Brad Haddin proved his calls with scoring notout 61 runs of just 39 deliveries.
Finally, United’s were able to chase the target in 18.4 overs with loss of 4 wickets.
