The private school owners are of the point that the orders of Punjab Government will lay more financial burden on private school owners.

Earlier,President All Pakistan Private School Federation Kashif Mirza met with Education Minister Rana Mashood in a high-level meeting. Raza along with delegation of Private Schools Federation explained about the concerns of Private School owners.

It should be known that, Punjab Private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) Amendment Bill was passed by the Punjab Assembly on February 26.

The bill was decried by the private school authorities as they said that this will be a barrier for private schools in promoting and regulating the education in the province.

According to the sources, the real point of conflict between government and Private school association is that the amendment  bill passed at Punjab Assembly restrains private schools from increasing fees without any prior notice or permission from the government authority.

On the other hand it is being told that private schools association wants to make 7 percent increase in their fee, which is not getting proposal from government.

Following all this, Kashif Mirza has called off for the A-category private schools in Lahore.
