April 26 was the last day to submit the Hajj Application forms, and now on Friday (28th April), Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony will hold a draw for the selection of this year’s pilgrims under the government quota.
This year as much as 179,210 Pakistanis are expected to perform the Hajj. It will be pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has got restored their quota of 179, 210 after it was reduced to 143,368 in 2013.
Following the policy, 60 percent of the pilgrims will go for Hajj through the government scheme, and the remaining 40 will go through the private operators.
Last year 83,440 applicants performed Hajj through the government scheme.
According to the sources, after the draw will be taken place at 4 pm, around 7 pm the final list of the successful applicants will be updated on the official site of government Hajj info site.
Online checking of Hajj application status can be made after entering the CNIC of the applicant at the official page (you can be there just by clicking the above mentioned Hajj 2017 Draw Results).
