Microsoft launched Rozgar.Work Pakistan’s first Employability & Entrepreneurship Platform

Globally acknowledged technology and innovation company Microsoft along with World Vision-Pakistan has taken an initiative to avail employment opportunities and to train Pakistani youth in accordance with latest techniques and technology.

The platform launched by Microsoft is Pakistan’s first of its kind employability platform that vows to avail job-matching and mentorship, end-to-end career guidance, up-skilling that all on a free website Rozgar.Work.

The initiative is well perceived nationwide at is an amazing offer for the young innovators who are gearing to have more and more skills and need some opportunity to show their ideas under a perfect mentorship.

The launching ceremony of Microsoft’s Rozgar.Work took place at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, many tech-enthusiasts and some forefront name also were among the attendees of the launch event. The Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest of the event.

Ahsan Iqbal while speaking at the launch said:

“It is heartening to see a technology leader like Microsoft, working on Youth Workforce Development, in collaboration with a robust humanitarian organization like ‘World-Vision International-Pakistan’.

Microsoft drives ‘#Upgrade Your World’ in Pakistan, after Bahawalpur it’s time for Multan

Microsoft launched its worldwide initiative to publicize the knowledge of their latest Windows 10 in the market. And now they have headed this awareness campaign in Pakistan.

The event intends to create the awareness of their latest Windows 10 to the children and others. The drive will be counseling the school children and other student about the benefits of upgrading to the Windows 10. This is not all, Microsoft will also be driving road shows, which means the awareness for each and everyone.

Yesterday, Microsoft encamped in Bahawalpur, which is the southern city of Punjab. According to the updates, Microsoft camped in Govt.Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, S.E University Chowk and several other areas. And their Map tells that there next destination will be Multan, not to worry, as this awareness campaign will be carried out in 10 major cities of Pakistan.


In the campaign, Microsoft team will be visiting the top  academic institutes of the places and will be carrying out the detail sessions, spreading knowledge students about the latest features of Windows 10.

This activity will be a beneficial one for the Pakistani tech-enthusiasts as they will be getting an opportunity to meet professional entrepreneurs of Microsoft in some detailed sessions. The tech bigwig will also be upgrading the devices of the people who want to do so.

The Microsoft drive which began yesterday will be lasting till November 21 in different parts of the country. Some sources also claim that, as part of all that, ‘Bloggers Evening’ will be also organized on 15th November in Lahore.

The Microsoft map tells that the next destination for their drive will be Multan, however, till now exact date of their arrival is not given.

Microsoft launches Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950, 950XL and Lumia 550

The event held in NY unveiled some new ventures of Microsoft, without any doubt they are mind-boggling. The event was a complete dose for techies as ‘mammoth’ inventiveness was displayed by the Microsoft company.

Here is some rapid intro of some of the introduced items:

Surface book: This venture is marked as first venture into the laptop market by Microsoft and it seems a tougher opponent to famous Apple’s Macbook Air. This new venture-dubbed the surface Book- is claimed twice as fast as Apple Macbook Pro.

Availability in the market: Will be available in stores from October 26th

Introductory Price: $1,499

The Redmond Company has called this new device ‘the Ultimate Laptop’ and commented as the best laptop ever built.

What makes it hot cake: 13.5in touchsreen having resolution of 3,000×2,00, giving it an awesome pixel density of 267ppi, leaving behind all the counterparts in means of pixel density.

The Apple Macbook Pro with Retina display has pixel density of 226ppi.

Surface Pro 4: This Microsoft tablet comprises of 12.6in having its starting price around $1150. Company claims that this tablet has the thinnest panel of Gorilla Glass, ever available on a tablet. It runs on on 6th-generation Intel Core processor and has 16GB of RAM and 1TBB storage. The tablet is multi-featured and can also be replaced as your laptop.

Lumia 950 and 950 XL: The siblings are introduced at starting prices of $549 and $649 respectively and will be available in the market, November this year. These two phones are regarded as the very first phones which will enable Windows 10 on it.

The Lumia 950 has a 5.2in AMOLED display with massive 2,640×1,440 resolution, a 1.8GHz hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 20 megapixel main camera equipped with Zeiss lenses.

The Lumia 950 XL has similar specifications but has a 5.7in AMOLED display and a 2GHz, eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

Lumia 550: This something really affordable for maximum techies as this can be interpreted as “World’s most affordable 4G LTE smartphone running Windows 10.” Having 4.7in display, will be available in Europe this December, with introductory price of $139.
